Located in the heart of Nantucket, Nantucket House
Antiques has been a leading dealer of fine
English antiques and
decorative accessories for
over a quarter century. Originally founded as a family business in 1973 in an 1820 Quaker House
located at 8 Fair Street, Nantucket House is located today at 2
South Beach Street directly across from the Nantucket Yacht Club,
within walking distance to local ferry service.
Antiques
With extensive sources developed for over a generation,
Nantucket House deals in fine English and American country antiques
of importance.
In particular, we specialize in "refined country" inventory
including English oak, walnut, sycamore, ash and elm from the 18th
and 19th centuries, along with a vast selection of
American, French and English period accessories such as pottery,
brass, garden sculptures, and ceramics. In addition, the shop
features an exquisite collection of English Majolica, including
specialty pieces by George Jones. Over the years, Nantucket House
has earned a reputation for handling premier antique furnishings of
genuine authenticity, as well as for providing knowledgeable and
helpful service.
Interior Design
Nantucket
House’s Interior Design Studio offers a complete resource for
design
services and actively works with many "on" and "off island"
design clients. Nantucket House's Interior Design work has been
written up in various national publications including House and
Garden, House Beautiful, Colonial Homes and Architectural Digest.
Visit Us
Are you planning a Cape Cod vacation?
Plan to visit us in person. Nantucket Island is a short trip
from Hyannis. Only a little more than two hours by boat (or
just an hour by high-speed ferry) and only 15 minutes by air.
We suggest arriving by ferry to see the
whole town come into view as the vessel rounds the lighthouse
at Brant Point. Regardless of how you come, we look forward to
seeing you.
